No. 30, Sec.2, Xinguang Rd., Wenshan Dist., Taipei City 11656, Taiwan. Brown line, exit station Taipei Zoo
Took the train to Taipei Zoo. Pretty easy cos the zoo is just right outside the train station!
While you are at the zoo, you can head to Mao Kong cable car station which is just on the left hand side (10 mins walk) from the train station!
Certain enclosures will be closed on certain days of the week. pls check the events calender before going down.
Opening hours : 9-5pm (no entry after 4pm)
Zoo ticket is very cheap! only NT 60, roughly less than SGD 3!?
actually the main aim of coming to Taipei Zoo was to visit Yuan Zai!!
his so so adorable!!!!
(image grab from google)
pls note that you have to get a queue no. to see him. wahaha.
tickets can be get from the zoo entrance, it will indicate the time slot.
anyway.. even thou they have allocated time for guest, BUT we were allowed less than 10 mins in their enclosure 😦
This is Yuan Yuan. Yuan zai’s mummy. didnt manage to get a picture of Yuan zai cos his back was facing us, and we werent actually allowed to stand there to watch them. we have to keep moving for the next crowd to come in.
But, there are still plenty of other cute animals!
They are all found at the kids section in the zoo. The koala was waving when he sees crowd gathering! how adorable!
so close with all the butterflies!
haha ok last butterflies pic.
we finished our zoo tour around 3.30pm, so heading over to Mao Kong Gondola right after!
Read it in the next post 🙂
