Jiufen

Day 2 of our taiwan trip we planned for Jiufen!

There are various methods to reach there,

1) Taipei main station > TRA – Ruifang > take bus 1062 to Jiu fen.

2) Zhong Xiao Fu Xing Station exit 1 > Bus 1062

We chose option 2 as it seems more direct! Both travel time are around the same although the TRA train ride is probably less than an hour, but transferring another bus to Jiu fen will take around 15 mins more, which comes up to the same as the 2nd option.

Upon reaching Zhong Xiao Fu Xing station, take exit 1, when you come out from the escalator, there will be many touts, ignore them, do a u-turn, go straight and turn left.

Its just opp sogo.

Food were pretty okay only but reasonable price!

After lunch, we proceed to the bus stop and wait for bus 1062. Didnt manage to wait too long! The touts were very daring, openly asking the passengers queuing at the bus stop. Easy card is accepted on the bus. Bus fare is around NT 100?
